I've been beavering away with arty stuff, whilst battening down the hatches for winter.
One of the jobs that needed doing was winter proofing one of my sheds/workshops. The roof inparticular needed urgent attention. Well; I didn't want a boring felt roof, I knew that much. I wanted something more organic. So I asked around a few people. They told me, "You need to google local thatchers". So I did. Thatchers. My kidneys have taken a bit of a pounding but I think it's been worth it don't you?

Winter season is about to come, that's why we need to prepare our houses for the possible coming of the season. Thatching the roof of your house is quite ideal because this season is very destructive. We all know how big the effect would be, especially if the roof of our houses are too old already. Thank you for the gentle reminder. It was a sure thing that I've learned a lot from your advices. I will try to apply it as soon as possible!

Thank-you for your comment. The 'thatched' roof is working well, I'm glad to say! I also found some insulation sheets that I lined the shed with, so it's cosy too!.
